Hilary Duff will reprise her role as Lizzie McGuire in Disney+ reboot series

Hilary Duff will play a 30-year-old Lizzie McGuire in the upcoming Disney Plus sequel series.
Hilary Duff is headed to Disney+ for the Lizzie McGuire sequel series we've been dreaming of since it went off the air in 2004. Everyone's favourite sassy teen is all grown up and living in New York City in this reimagining. Hilary Duff will play Lizzie as 30 year old millennial and the show will stream exclusively on Disney+. According to Deadline, animated Lizzie is making a comeback as well.

Hilary shared her excitement for the sequel series on Instagram stories and her feed.
"I've really missed her. I think now is a great time for her to come back in her 30s and, you know, she's everybody's best friend. And I cant wait to go on this next chapter with her," Hilary said on Instagram stories.
In the live D23 announcement, Hilary revealed that Lizzie is working as an apprentice for a decorator, has her dream apartment, and is even in a relationship with her dream guy. We love that for her!
