Kim Possible told the story of a teenage secret agent who worked to balance her life as a spy with her life as a high school student. Kim had a sidekick, Ron Stoppable, and a tech geek, Wade, in her corner as well.
The original Kim Possible ran from June, 2002 to September, 2007. The Disney Channel aired 4 seasons and 87 episodes of the animated comedy. There have been two animated Kim Possible movies. Kim Possible: A Sitch In Time aired as a Disney Channel original movie in 2003. Kim Possible Movie: So the Drama landed on the network in 2005.
On February 7, 2018 Disney confirmed that they would be moving ahead with plans to make a live action Kim Possible film.
It is unclear what the production schedule for the film will be. If casting is under way now, fans might eye Spring/Summer 2019 as a potential Disney Channel premiere date.
Disney has made no indication that they have found an actress to play the role of the iconic super heroine. In their Twitter announcement, the company called for suggestions and fans were eager to make their thoughts known.

Disney Channel newcomer Meg Donnelly has been tapped by fans...
People also like Sabrina Carpenter for the role.
Producers will also need to fill the roles of Ron, Wade, Shego, Dr. Drakken and others in Kim's orbit.
Christy Carlson Romano was the original voice of Kim Possible. She also starred alongside Shia LaBeouf on Even Stevens.
Christy responded to the news by tweeting a photo of herself and her baby with the caption "obviously the next Kim Possible". Fans expressed a desire for her to be involved with the film in some way.
