On My Block: Who is Lil' Ricky? Here's what we find out in season 3

On My Block season 3 revolves around Monse, Cesar, Jamal and Ruby trying to track down Lil' Ricky.
Lil' Ricky has always played a key in part in On My Block but he takes centre stage in season 3 as the squad try to find him.
As soon as On My Block season 3 begins, we learn that Monse, Cesar, Jamal and Ruby have been kidnapped by Cuchillos. Cuchillos is the leader of the Santos and she reveals that Lil' Ricky is alive and in hiding. Impressed by the squad's recent antics, she blackmails them into searching for Lil' Ricky on her behalf. The season focuses on their quest to catch him.

Of course, this wouldn't be On My Block if there weren't many twists and turns but here's what we learn about Lil' Ricky.
Who is Lil' Ricky in On My Block season 3?
We first hear about Lil' Ricky in On My Block season 1. We learn that there is a widespread urban legend that three members of the Santos, Benito, Frankie and Lil' Ricky, stole thousands of dollars from RollerWorld in 1981. They allegedly then hid the money but Benito and Frankie were arrested and died in prison. Meanwhile, Lil' Ricky wasn't arrested but apparently died.
Jamal makes it his mission to find the RollerWorld money in season 1 and he does. We then find out in season 3 though that Lil' Ricky is alive and the squad search for him under Cuchillos' orders. Jasmine finds out what the squad are up to and she joins in with them, competing with Jamal to lead the mission to find out who Lil' Ricky is and where he is.
However, the squad never actually find out his identity. At one point, Jamal is certain that Lil' Ricky is posing as a rapper called Father Goose, who appears in a child star's video. Lil Ricky' recorded a mixtape years ago and Father Goose sounds just like him but, when they gatecrash the video, they find out that Goose doesn't speak Spanish.
In other words, Lil' Ricky can't be him and, instead of finding out who he is, they decide to kill Cuchillos before she murders them. A rival gang called 19th Street beat them to it though, and with Cuchillos dead, the squad no longer have to find out who Lil' Ricky is.
Could Lil' Ricky be Cesar and Spooky's dad?
Naturally, there are plenty of fan theories. Some people think Lil' Ricky is Cesar and Spooky's dad, who appears for the first time in season 3, after spending 12 years in prison only to disappear again. When he first appears in the show, it looks like he might be Lil' Ricky but it's then revealed that he's Spooky and Cesar's father.
It seems unlikely that Spooky and Cesar would have no idea that their dad is Lil' Ricky. Not to mention, other members of the Santos would no doubt know if he was... so it looks like we'll have to wait until season 4 to find out who Lil Ricky' actually is.
