Travis Scott has a lot of explaining to do… we had plans. The "Sicko Mode" rapper was rumoured to be planning an elaborate marriage proposal for his girlfriend Kylie Jenner during his halftime performance at the Super Bowl, but what did we get? Nothing!
Although the couple have never confirmed it would happen, there have been rumours that Travis would pop the question for sometime. The first piece of evidence was when Travis pretty much confirmed the proposal would be something huge. "We'll get married soon. I just gotta sturdy up – I gotta propose in a fire way," Travis told Rolling Stone in December 2018, and what would be more "fire" than dropping to your knee at the Super Bowl?
Kylie also has a history of upstaging the Super Bowl. Last year, Kylie overshadowed the entire event by announcing she'd welcomed her daughter Stormi, after shying away from the spotlight during her entire pregnancy. So, in theory, a proposal on the anniversary of their baby announcement would have been perfect.
Well, it didn't happen. Travis didn't get down on one knee to pop the question and Kylie didn't leave the stadium with a huge rock on her finger. Like, this was only reason people even bothered watching the game, instead we got a shirtless Adam Levine.
Needless to say, Kylie's fans were fuming – we were promised a Kardashian-Jenner wedding and we want it NOW.
