KJ Apa Just Dragged Cole Sprouse For Winning ‘Male Hottie’ At The TCAs

This is too funny for words...
It's no secret that we cannot wait for Season 3 of Riverdale. Ever since the second season of the teen drama drew to a close back in May, we've been desperate to find out what happens next to Betty, Veronica, Cheryl and the rest of our faves (mainly Falice tbh). Thankfully it's less than two months now until the show returns and, in the mean time, the cast are keeping us all entertained with their incredible social media antics.

From skateboarding fails to declarations of love, it's been a wild summer. However, nothing compares to this latest Riverdale news. At the weekend, Cole Sprouse (Jughead) took home the award for Choice Male Hottie at the Teen Choice Awards. He faced stiff competition from the likes of Zac Efron and Shawn Mendes but still managed to come out on top. Naturally, his cast-mates are roasting him for it.
KJ Apa (Archie) took to Instagram last night to post a photo of the two Riverdale stars with the ever so slightly sarcastic caption: "So glad I got to know you before you became teen choice hottie." He then went on to add: "I know how hard you’ve worked for this bro 👊🏻👊🏻 proud of you!! Don’t change!!" This is too savage. We cannot deal.

Not only that but KJ also jokingly commented: "I should have won that fucking award". And he wasn't the only one who was poking fun at Cole. Charles Melton (Reggie), joined in as well. The beloved Riverdale actor wrote: "I still can't believe it. How many... how did HE win teen choice male hottie?!" Scream.
Of course, Cole was not having any of this. He quickly clap backed in the best way possible: "If I beat Chris Hemsworth then you two are child's play @kjapa @melton. Call me Thanos."
And then the entire Riverdale cast got involved because they are iconic like that. Queen Vanessa Morgan (Toni) called out KJ, writing: "lil salty it wasn't you". Please excuse us while we recover from that burn. King Skeet Ulrich (FP) attempted to put to rest any drama by saying: "There are plenty of surfboards to go around".
Perhaps best of all though, the one and only Casey Cott (Kevin) called on Chris Hemsworth to get involved: "please chime in and let these children know who is boss. (It's me)."
We are crying. We love this cast so much.
