Fans are reacting to the news that Katherine Langford has joined the cast of 'Avengers 4', due in theatres in early 2019.
13 Reasons Why star Katherine Langford will reportedly appear in the upcoming Avengers 4 film, due out next year. The actress, who played Hannah Baker on the controversial Netflix show for two seasons has apparently shot her scenes for the Marvel film, according reporting from The Wrap, who broke the story on Friday (Oct. 26).
Katherine's role is currently unknown, with Marvel keeping many of the film's details under lock and key. Fans of the franchise will remember that Avengers: Infinity War sent the MCU into pandemonium. With Thanos wreaking major havoc on the Avengers' all-star lineup, the remaining heroes will have a lot to overcome in Avengers 4, which is slated for release in April, 2019.
The internet has already reacted to the news of Katherine Langford's casting, with many joking that Thanos better get ready to hear his "tape".
The tapes are a reference to the recordings at the center of 13 Reasons Why season 1, the show that gave Katherine her big break.

Katherine's casting in the film also comes at a time when Chris Evans is likely saying goodbye to the franchise and hanging up his Captain America shield.
Katherine seemingly has no intention of slowing down. The actress appeared in Love, Simon earlier this year and will star in the upcoming Netflix show, Cursed, about a teen who is destined become the Lady of The Lake.
