Riverdale's Jordan Connor joins cast of Hulu's John Green adaptation 'Looking For Alaska'

The John Green novel is being adapted and Riverdale's Jordan Connor has joined the cast alongside Sofia Vassilieva, Jay Lee, Denny Love, Uriah Shelton, and Landry Bender.
Hulu's Looking For Alaska has added six cast members to the upcoming series, including Riverdale actor Jordan Connor (Sweet Pea). Per Deadline, Sofia Vassilieva, Jay Lee, Denny Love, Jordan Connor, Uriah Shelton, and Landry Bender will appear alongside Kristine Froseth and Charlie Plummer in the John Green novel adaptation.
Jordan took to Instagram to share his excitement over his casting in the upcoming Hulu series.
"So incredibly excited and proud to be a part of this amazing project! John Green has told an amazing story in Looking For Alaska, and I can’t wait to help bring it to life" he wrote.
Jordan has been a recurring cast member on Riverdale, and has played South Side Serpent Sweet Pea since season 2.
Jordan also shared a photo of his Looking For Alaska cast mates all together for the project.
According to Deadline, Jordan will play Kevin, a lacross jock aka a "weekday warrior". Denny Love will play The Colonel, Uriah Shelton will play Longwell, Sofia Vassilieva will play Lara, Jay Lee plays Takumi, and Landry Bender will play Sara.
Looking For Alaska will be an eight episode limited series that tells the story of Miles "Pudge" Halter (Charlie Plummer), a student looking for a fresh start at Culver Creek Boarding School. At his new school he meets and falls for Alaska (Kristine Froseth), whose untimely death compels Miles and his friends to search for answers.
John Green's Looking For Alaska was first published in 2005. It was Green's first book, preceding his other famous written works, Paper Towns (2008) and The Fault In Our Stars (2012).
A release date has not yet been announced for the upcoming series.
