Stranger Things' Joe Keery just cut all his hair off and everyone is losing it

Joe Keery's Steve Harrington hair is no more. He has a bowl cut and bangs now.

Stranger Things star Joe Keery is known for many things. He's a talented actor, he's a talented musician, he's a great mom and he has absolutely phenomenal hair. Hair so iconic that it has become one of the most important parts of every season of Stranger Things.

So, imagine the internet's surprise today when we all awoke to the news that quadruple threat Joe stepped out during New York Fashion Week...with a brand new look.

Yes kids, Joe's iconic Steve Harrington lewk is no more – he's chopped it all off into a bowl cut and even got bangs too. First Harry Styles and now Joe? What is happening?!

Attending a Chanel dinner celebrating Gabrielle Chanel Essence last night (Sept 14), Joe and his girlfriend Maika Monroe looked every inch the power couple on the red carpet but no one can get over his new cut.

The internet is officially in mourning and it'll take at least 3-5 business days for everyone to come to terms with the loss of their favourite hairstyle in both Hollywood and Hawkins.

Will and Jonathan Byers' impact... honestly.

Some people, on the other hand, are absolutely living for his lil' bangs. And yes, you are right, Joe does look handsome no matter what his hair looks like.

So, um, important question: What does Joe's new look mean for Steve in Stranger Things 4?

There's been a couple of conflicting reports as to when Stranger Things 4 begins filming (Cara Buono says it's in October 2019, other sources are saying January 2020) but either way, Joe's got a while to grow Steve's iconic look back.

Maybe he'll wear a wig? Or worse... maybe Steve will have a totally different look?!
