Insatiable fans start petition for Season 3 after its cancelled by Netflix

Insatiable was not renewed by Netflix for Season 3.
Insatiable might have been cancelled after two seasons but fans of the Netflix show just aren't ready to let it go yet. In fact, some have even started a petition to get Insatiable a third season.
In case you didn't know, Alyssa Milano (who played Coralee Armstrong) confirmed that Insatiable was over last week (14 Feb) on Twitter. Whilst there's no official word from Netflix on why that is, Insatiable was incredibly controversial and the premise of the whole show, which was about an overweight teen (Debby Ryan) who loses weight and seeks revenge on her peers, received backlash when it started back in 2018.

Despite the criticism of its fat-shaming plot, people really want to know what's going to go down following the explosive Season 2 finale. Basically, Bob Armstrong (Dallas Roberts) gets thrown in jail for a crime he did not commit, while his wife Coralee is pregnant. However, the baby might not be Bob's child. Meanwhile, Patty claimed the life of her sixth victim, Stella Rose (Beverley D'Angelo).
Sadly, viewers aren't going to get the chance to see how this all pans out for Bob or Patty. So, a fan started a petition for Insatiable Season 3 shortly after the cancellation news.
The petition read: "Insatiable showed in its second season that it has a lot of potential for more stories. It is simply disrespectful the way in which NETFLIX has been canceling series with open endings and that shakes fans a lot. This petition intends to try to get NETFLIX's attention to ask for at least a worthy ending for the series.
"Show this petition to your friends, your family and other fans of the series, we need to be heard. We are a very big fandom, so the more people participate the better."
The petition currently has a little over 1,500 signatures right now, just 1,000 short of its goal of 2,500 signatures. Now that's not a lot when you compare it to the petition to cancel the show before it had even aired, which reached almost 250,000 signatures.
