How long is Love Island on for?

It's not been confirmed yet exactly how long Love Island is on for, or when the finale will be. But we can confirm that Series 4 of the show is going to be the longest season of Love Island to date.

Love Island | Your Only Destination This Summer | ITV2

Last year we were blessed with just under eight weeks of Love Island content but this year we are going to get even more tropical goodness. Eagle eyed fans have noticed that the application form for the new season stated that anyone applying to be a contestant on the new show had to be available for at least ten weeks.

Caroline has even commented on the rumours that this season will last a little bit longer than previous ones. According to a quote in The Mirror, the reality TV queen said: “We are here for an extra week longer."

She then added: "And a week in ‘Love Island’ relationships is like a year in real relationships - and a lot can happen in a year... It’s going to be the longest ever.” Amazing.

So in other words we have an entire summer of Love Island upon us. We cannot wait.
