Milly Alcock has discussed Rhaenyra's love interests in House of the Dragon and revealed if she's team Daemon or Criston.
Ever since House of the Dragon debuted on HBO last month (Aug 23), viewers have wondered who Rhaenyra will marry. She has now met with multiple suitors but it's clear that she's interested in just two men: her uncle Daemon (Matt Smith) and her knight Ser Criston Cole (Fabien Frankel). On top of that, she's now had sexual experiences with both of these characters.

Who does Milly Alcock think is best for her character? Here's what Milly's said about Rhaenyra's romantic escapades.
Discussing Rhaenyra's love life with The New York Post, Milly revealed that she's ultimately team Daemon. She said: "I think it’s complicated, I think Daemon is good for her... but whether or not he’s the right thing for her, time will tell." Daemon is, of course, Rhaenyra's uncle. However, they come from an incestuous bloodline where brothers and sisters often marry.
Milly continued: "Rhaenyra is at an age where she can’t tell the difference between platonic love, romantic love and lust, because she hasn’t lived long enough and gone through those experiences.
"I think that she understands that there’s a feeling here [with Daemon], but she’s not quite sure where it lands, and how to behave with it and navigate it.”

As for Criston, Milly said: "I wrestled with that the whole time, in the show. I think that she wants to be seen, and ultimately Daemon and Criston Cole are the only two people who really see her. Both of them see her for different reasons. Daemon kind of has the upper hand, and Rhaenyra has the upper hand with Cole, and that turns her on a bit.”
She finished by saying: "I think that she genuinely likes him. But I don’t think she would pick him over Daemon, ultimately."
To find out who Rhaenyra actually ends up with, you'll have to read George R. R. Martin's Fire & Blood book.
