The wait is over. Ginny & Georgia season 2 is finally here and the season ends with an even bigger cliffhanger than season 1.
Ginny & Georgia season 2 picks up right where season 1 leaves off. Georgia is engaged to Mayor Paul but Ginny and Austin have run away and are living with Zion. Max refuses to speak to Ginny after finding out about her relationship with Marcus. Meanwhile, Georgia's secret (that she's committed murder) is close to being exposed and nearly everyone is on edge.
How does Ginny & Georgia season 2 end though? Here's an extensive breakdown of what happens in the season 2 finale.

In Ginny & Georgia season 2, Georgia and Ginny rebuild their relationship with Georgia explaining that she killed Kenny in an attempt to stop him from sexually assaulting Ginny. Ginny understands but keeping Georgia's secret leads her to self-harm again. She eventually stops hurting herself but just as things start getting better for the Millers, Austin's dad Gil returns.
In flashbacks, we see how abusive Gil was to Georgia. In the present, he tries to blackmail Georgia into giving him some of Paul's money by threatening to tell people about her past. It all comes to a head in episode 9 when Austin shoots Gil after he gets violent with Georgia. Georgia then decides that she must run away with Austin and Ginny again.
However, Ginny confronts Georgia and tells her she should stay and marry Paul. She just needs to be much more honest with him. Agreeing, Georgia tells Paul about her many crimes (except for the murders). Paul takes time to think and the following day, he invites Georgia to her office.
Who does Georgia kill in Ginny & Georgia?
Instead of breaking up with Georgia, Paul offers her his attorney. When Gil storms in, Paul accuses him of harassing Georgia and informs him that he won't be getting any of his money and needs to leave Georgia alone. Paul's threat (and his attorney hovering in the background) lead Gil to give up. He is then escorted out of Paul's office.
Paul then explains that he still wants to marry Georgia and can't live without her. The wedding then goes ahead as planned. However, Gabriel then shows up with the police and arrests Georgia for the murder of Tom Fuller. Ginny is shocked and in disbelief but a crying Austin tells Ginny that he saw Georgia kill Tom.
What Ginny doesn't know is that Georgia didn't murder Tom out of malice. Noticing how much Tom's slow death from his illness was affecting Cynthia and her son, Georgia intervened in a bid to help them move on from their grief. You know, a totally normal response, right?
Whether or not Georgia ends up in prison, it seems likely that Ginny will struggle to trust her mum even more in season 3.
Do Ginny and Marcus end up together in Ginny & Georgia?
Outside of Georgia's murderous actions, Ginny and Marcus become official boyfriend and girlfriend. However, they begin to drift apart with Ginny self-harming and Marcus experiencing depression. As a result, Marcus breaks up with Ginny. At first, Ginny is hurt but, after understanding his mental health struggles, agrees to remain friends with him.
It's clear that they both still have romantic feelings for each other though, so we reckon Ginny and Marcus' relationship will still be a central part of season 3.
