Carla Gugino plays the mysterious Verna in Netflix’s Fall of the House of Usher series. Bruce Greenwood plays the Usher family patriarch Rodrick in the Netflix series. Bruce has previously appeared in Mike Flanagan’s Gerald’s Game (opposite Carla Gugino), The Haunting of Hill House (as an uncredited ghost) and in Doctor Sleep (as Dr. John Dalton). Mary McDonnell plays Roderick’s twin sister Madeline in the Netflix series. House of Usher is actually Mary’s first Mike Flanagan project. On the big screen, you might recognise her from Scream 4 as Kate Roberts or as Rose in Donnie Darko. She was also nominated for an Oscar for her role in Dances With Wolves.
