Let's be honest, accents can be tricky.
The trailer for Little Women just dropped and the internet has some thoughts. The highly-anticipated movie features an all-star cast including, Saoirse Ronan (Jo March), Emma Watson (Meg March), Florence Pugh (Amy March) and Timothée Chalamet (Theodore “Laurie” Laurence).

However, inbetween thirsting over Timothée (his hair guys, his hair…), there's something else that is standing out – Emma Watson's American accent.
Little Women is based on the 1868 and 1869 novel by Louisa May Alcott about four fearless sisters breaking boundaries and trying to find their feet in 1860s New England. The story is set in Massachusetts, US, so Emma obviously had to change her British accent to an American one for the role of Meg.

Remember that video of the Harry Potter cast speaking in American accents and you get to hear Emma Watson say “The Olive Garden”? Anyway that was better than her accent in the Little Women trailer.

Sadly, you're going to have to wait a little to hear Emma attempt to channel some 1860s New England realness. Little Women won't be hitting theatres until 26 December.
