A Beauty and the Beast prequel is coming to Disney+

Following the 2017 adaption of Beauty and the Beast starring Emma Watson, Luke Evans and Josh Gad will be returning to their roles as Gaston and LeFou in Disney+'s new prequel.
Just as we'd recovered from the news that Hocus Pocus is getting a reboot, Disney+ really is doing the most right now, with news emerging that a prequel to Beauty and the Beast is coming to the streaming platform.
The six-episode musical series will see Luke Evans and Josh Gad return as kings of toxic masculinity, Gaston and LeFou, for a prequel that will in a nutshell, show us how they came to be such d*cks, according to the Hollywood Reporter. It is also being reported that Emma Watson might be making a guest appearance.

Once Upon A Time creators Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz will be working on the series as show runners, and Gad will also be a creator and writer, and fans are already excited to see how the dynamic between the two totally different characters will form their friendship, long before the days of Belle and talking tableware.
LeFou was adjusted in the 2017 version of the Disney classic to be perceived as one of the first gay characters, which featured him dancing with another man at the castle during the ending, but it left fans hungry for more at the subtlety of the scene after it was made out to be a big deal before the release.
However, the scene almost got the film banned in Russia (which has recently been criticised for censoring Disney's LGBTQ character in Onward), and only agreed to release it on the condition that it had a higher age rating.
Disney+ will be making its UK debut on 24th March, where fans will be able to stream over 1,000 movies and TV shows, and as well as the Beauty and the Beast reprisal, will exclusively get to see remakes of Lady and the Tramp, as well as Hocus Pocus 2 for the introductory yearly fee of £59.99.
Binge-watchers, assemble, because while we wait, you'll find us singing along to the original. We're gonna need a trailer, STAT.
