'Wizard's Of Waverly Place's' David Henrie Arrested For Carrying A Loaded Gun

Henrie shared a statement on Twitter following his release.
Wizards Of Waverly Place star David Henrie was arrested yesterday (September 10) for possession of a loaded handgun.
The 29-year-old actor who played Justin Russo on the Disney Channel show “was arrested at 9:05 a.m. for possession of a loaded handgun at Terminal 2 at LAX,” a public information officer with the Los Angeles Airport Police confirmed to PEOPLE.
According to TMZ, who broke the story, Henrie was reportedly carrying a loaded pistol which was discovered during a TSA screening and was immediately detained. PEOPLE confirms that he was released at 3:02 p.m. on a $10,000 bail. He will now reportedly appear in court on Oct. 1.
Following his release, Henrie tweeted an explanation and an apology to his fans on Twitter.

“I take responsibility for the situation at LAX today. I unintentionally brought my legally owned gun which is registered in my name to the airport,” the actor wrote on Twitter.
“I am so sorry for any trouble it caused, but I am appreciative of TSA’s efforts in implementing the safety laws that are in place to protect our beautiful country. More than anything I am humiliated and embarrassed that this even happened. But I am thankful to the TSA, LAPD and all involved today for their kindness and their professionalism during this process.”
Earlier this week, Henrie announced that he and his wife Maria Cahill Henrie are expecting their first baby together in a cute video posted to Instagram.
