A surprise Christmas episode of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is coming

The special Christmas episode will air on Netflix on December 14th.

Season one of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has already taken the world by storm and people are already dying for more episodes of the brand new Netflix show. Season two, which is currently in production, is set to drop on the streaming service in April 2019 but just when you thought you were going to have to wait a whole 'nother five months for your next dose of Satan's finest, Netflix has come through with the goods.

Announced on Twitter by show runner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Netflix are releasing a special Christmas episode on Friday December 14th.

The episode, which is a stand-alone episode of the series, is called Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: A Midwinter’s Tale.

According to Netflix's press release, it will revolve around the Church of Night’s annual celebration of the Winter Solstice when “families gather around the Yule Fire to sing pagan carols and tell ghost stories … [and] you never know what might come down the chimney.”

Like we said, season two of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is scheduled to drop on April 5th 2019 and the trailer has just been released. However, now that this episode is dropping in December, that means season two of the series - which was originally believed to be ten episodes long - will now only be nine episodes long.
