Chris Evans And Chris Hemsworth Improvised Their Only Scene In "Infinity War"

Remember when Avengers: Infinity War director Joe Russo revealed that Tom Holland had improvised THAT scene in the movie? How can we forget, tbh... we're still crying about it. Anyway, now it appears as though your husband Chris Evans and your boyfriend Chris Hemsworth improvised their scene together - and it turned out to be one of the funniest in the film.

Back when Infinity War was just a tiny little baby in production, Entertainment Weekly stopped by the set and gave us a sneak peak into what was going on. That day, the were shooting the big fight scene in Wakanda and Evans and Hemsworth were on set shooting their brilliant reunion on the battle field. According to EW, the pair were standing behind the camera talking about a bit they would try to sneak into the scene regarding their characters' new looks. Yes, we're talking about THAT beard.

Anyway, here's the excerpt from EW, that details how Evans and Hemsworth were gonna go about their facial hair back-and-forth.

"Evans suggests that when they bump into each other, they do what friends often do after being apart for a while: assess each other’s haircuts. In some ways, they’ve swapped styles. Thor has gotten a clean-cut trim, while Cap is sporting the ragged locks and beard.“I’ll be like, ‘Short hair now? Good choice,’” Evans says, while miming a right hook against an invisible Outrider.“And I’ll go, ‘Yours too. The beard. Very ­rugged,’” Hemsworth says. They’re still workshopping it as they go back in front of the cameras."

At the time, no one was really sure if that scene would even make it into the film. But now we've seen it, we can confirm that that improved line does make it into the final cut... and it's even more amazing than we'd imagined.

There's no shortage of improvisation on the set of the Marvel films. Most recently, in Thor: Ragnarok, Chris Hemsworth admitted that almost every scene in the film had been improvised. And as we all know, that turned out GREAT so it's no wonder that the writers and directors are giving the actors a bit more room to experiment with their characters.

Right then, who else improvised their scenes in this damn movie? Pratt? Ruffalo? My girl Letitia Wright? RDJ?! We can't handle any more of this genius!
