Riverdale's Charles Melton teases Veronica and Reggie's future as a couple

Veronica and Reggie kissed in last night's Riverdale episode...

Riverdale is back. After weeks off air for its mid-season break, the beloved hit series finally returned last night and it's safe to say that it didn't disappoint. Not only were we blessed with multiple iconic Choni scenes (queens of stealing Glamergé eggs) but Betty lowkey had a showdown with Evelyn (I don't trust her) and it looks like our sweet prince of shirtless scenes Archie may be... [SPOILER]?!! (NOT on my watch).

Yes. It was a lot to take in but, in and amongst all of the huge drama, one other major thing happened and the entire fandom is shook. After months of teasing a potential relationship, our fave teen speakeasy owner Veronica and her dapper wingman Reggie kissed. Varchie fans are understandably not feeling it but Veggie fans are living and now Charles Melton's revealed what's next for the new couple.

Will Veronica and Reggie stay together?

Discussing them with ET, Charles said: "Well, I think as a potential couple, one thing I can tease is that you’re going to know that not only do they have a relationship, but they also have a working relationship too. So you’re going to see that dynamic of their working relationship along with their relationship and that’s pretty much all I can say."

Iconic. He also hinted at how Archie will feel about the whole ordeal. "Personally, as Charles Melton, as myself, I think when It comes down to it, Archie will support one of his best guy friends, but I think he’s got a lot going on right now. I think he doesn’t have too much time to think about it." So Archie will be cool with it? ...sure Jan.

Obviously Charles and Camila Mendes are dating IRL so, the actor also touched on what it was like to film a kiss with his actual girlfriend. "It was just very beautiful and very sensual I think. We were very excited filming that scene." We're not going to lie. We ship it. As for the Riverdale fandom, they are totally split on Veggie.
