Meet the cast of Channel 4’s newest adult dramedy ‘Pure’. Newcomer Charly Clive plays Marnie, a woman with OCD who can’t seem to escape her relentless x-rated thoughts. Niamh Algar, Joe Cole, and Anthony Welsh round out the cast in this solid C4 comedy.

Marnie is played by British actress Charly Clive. In the show, Marnie has Pure O, a form of obsessive compulsive disorder that causes her to have intrusive and sexually graphic thoughts. Prior to ‘Pure’, Charly appeared in a 2015 film called “Never Better”.

3. Joe is played by Anthony Welsh
Joe is played Anthony Welsh. Joe is Amber’s housemate who Marnie instantly has chemistry with. Despite their obvious spark, Joe and Marnie don’t immediately strike up a romance. Fans of “Black Mirror” and “Flea Bag” will certainly recognise the British actor.

Shereen is played by Kiran Sonia Sawar. Shereen is the first person that Marnie texts when she arrives to London. Shereen allows Marnie to stay in her spare room (aka a supply closet). Fans will almost certainly recognise Kiran Sonia Sawar for her role in 'Black Mirror' season 4 and from ‘Next of Kin’ and ‘Murdered By My Father’.

5. Amber is played by Niamh Algar
Amber is played by Niamh Algar. Amber is one of the first people that Marnie meets in London. After nearly hooking up after a night out, Amber and Marnie begin working together and remain friends. You’ll know Niamh from shorts and TV series like “The Bisexual”, “Viking”, and “MotherFatherSon”.

Charlie is played by Joe Cole. Charlie and Marnie meet at a sex addicts meeting and strike up a friendship. You know Joe Cole from “Peaky Blinders”, “Skins”, and “Black Mirror”.

Sef is played by Jing Lusi. Sef is the woman who calls Marnie a different name in the office. Jing Lusi was in 2018’s ‘Crazy Rich Asians’, ‘The Romanoffs’ and ‘Bob The Builder’.
