It's time for your Liberty High close up!
If you've ever wanted to star in the background (or maybe even have a speaking part) in your favourite Netflix show, now is your chance. 13 Reasons Why is about to start production on its the third season and they're looking for people to act alongside the cast in the background of certain scenes.
Glorioso Casting held a "digital casting call" on August 4th, explaining how to go about auditioning for the show. The call was for extras only - no new major or minor characters have been announced just yet.
The casting directors are looking for all ages, but primarily, they want 18 to 25-year-olds of all ethnicities to play high school students. The shoot will be taking place in the San Francisco Bay Area so you'll have to be local enough to be able to get to work and stay for however long they need you - a typical day on set is 12+ hours.
They are specifically looking for people who can play football, do cheerleading and people who can drive and ride bikes. (Yep, every time you see a cars or people on bikes in the background of a shot, that's an extra.) Oh, and if you have a red or a white car... don't bother. They don't want those, they don't blend into the background.

It also probably means that the third season will be dropping on Netflix in the latter half of 2019. For more information, spoilers and updates on the third season of 13 Reasons Why, click here.
