This Is What The '13 Reasons Why' Cast Will Be Paid For Season 3

The cast are getting a HUGE pay rise now Katherine Langford is gone.
13 Reasons Why is days away from beginning production on the third season and details about how Netflix intend on continuing the storyline now the show's lead star, Katherine Langford, has exited the show are a closely guarded secret.
However, now Hannah Baker is out of the picture, it looks like the cast have been renegotiating their contracts and several of the cast are looking at receiving a very big pay day for the third season.
As reported by Deadline, the first table read for the upcoming season was expected today (Aug 9) but the core eight cast members are still renegotiating their contracts but they expected all pay discussions to be settled when production begins next Monday (Aug 13).
Dylan Minnette, who plays Clay Jensen, is rumoured to be the sole lead for the third season and is reportedly negotiating for a fee of $200,000 per episode. Assuming the season will have 13 episodes like the first two, that means Dylan will net a very tidy sum of $2.6 million for the whole season.
Suddenly we feel very happy for Dylan and incredibly sad for ourselves.
The rest of the core eight Brandon Flynn (Justin), Alisha Boe (Jessica), Justin Prentice (Bryce), Christian Navarro (Tony), Miles Heizer (Alex), Devin Druid (Tyler) and Ross Butler (Zach) are looking for about $150,000 an episode. I guess that must be why Ross left Riverdale, huh?
This is a HUGE pay rise from the first and second seasons, when they were said to have been paid between $20,000 – $60,000 per episode (Dylan was a little higher, due to his bigger role, at around $80,000 per episode).
Another interesting detail from the Deadline piece is that season 4 is already being discussed. According to them, the actual figure they receive for season 3 might be a little lower than they're asking for but it will increase for season 4.
So if you thought 13 Reasons Why was only coming back for one more season, think again.
