Riverdale: This is how much the cast get paid

Who is the highest earning Riverdale cast member? Turns out, they're all getting this bread.

Riverdale is one of the biggest TV shows on the air right now and it's got a HUGE fanbase, so you'd expect the cast to be raking it in, right? Well, the salaries of the cast (KJ Apa, Cole Sprouse, Lili Reinhart and Camila Mendes) have been revealed and they're not earning as much as you think.

Variety has calculated exactly how much the stars of some of our favourite shows rake in per episode and the core four from Riverdale are included. At the top end is Norman Reedus, who is on a staggering $1 million per episode for his role in The Walking Dead. In contrast, the cast of Netflix's Queer Eye make $7,500 each per episode of their hit show.

Here's how much your Riverdale favourites actually earn per episode:

Lili Reinhart (Betty Cooper) – $40,000 per episode

Camila Mendes (Veronica Lodge) – $40,000 per episode

KJ Apa (Archie Andrews) – $40,000 per episode

Cole Sprouse (Jughead Jones) – $40,000 per episode

Doesn't really seem like a lot does it? Only $40k per episode? For a full 22-episode season? Whew!

When you compare their salaries to Stranger Things, they're practically getting paid peanuts. Stranger Things' biggest stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown are each earning $350,000 per episode this season, while the rest of the gang are on a slightly less $250,000.
