Cameron Boyce's dad Victor speaks out after son's tragic death

Cameron Boyce's father Victor Boyce has thanked fans for the "love and support" his family has received following the death of his son at age 20.
Cameron Boyce's family announced over the weekend that the beloved actor had died, aged 20. Tributes poured in from his shocked friends and co-stars, who called him "talented" and "one of a kind". Now Cameron's father, Victor Boyce, has spoken out and thanked everyone for their love and support.

Victor Boyce wrote on Twitter: "I’m overwhelmed with the love and support our family has received. It really does help to ease the pain of this nightmare I can’t wake up from. I can’t thank you guys enough."

This follows up the family's initial statement to ABC over the weekend:
"He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated. The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him."
"We are utterly heartbroken and ask for privacy during this immensely difficult time as we grieve the loss of our precious son and brother."
Dozens of Cameron's co-stars and friends have sent his family well wishes. Cameron's pal and Grown Ups co-star China Anne McClain posted an emotional tribute along with condolences for his mother, father and sister.
"To Mr. Vic, Mrs. Libby, and Maya, I'm so sorry. You guys lost something that the rest of us didn't lose. You guys lost blood, a son, a brother and I lost my best friend, my closest friend, my longest friend. I'll never again have a friend like Cameron."
