The official Avengers: Endgame synopsis confirms everything we already knew: nobody is safe.

The running time for Avengers: Endgame has apparently been revealed and if it's true, it's set to be the longest Marvel film so far.

With Thanos, the snap, half the population wiped out, most of the Avengers turned to dust, Ant-Man stuck in the quantum realm, the quantum realm in general, Captain Marvel's arrival, Hawkeyes' return and the very important mystery surrounding the length of Cap's beard in the two sneak peaks we've seen so far, there's a lot to unpack in the final phase three movie.

Brie Larson and Tessa Thompson just hinted at a Captain Marvel and Valkyrie relationship

Earlier this year, it was rumoured that Endgame would be over three hours long. And now, according to AMC Theatres, who listed the Endgame synopsis alongside the running time, it appears as though Avengers: Endgame will be a whopping 3 hours and 2 minutes long (182 minutes).

In comparison, Infinity War clocked in at 2 hours and 40 minutes. Captain America: Civil War ran at 2 hours 27 minutes and the first two Avengers films were just behind that at 2 hours 23 minutes and 2 hours 21 minutes. Basically, the more Avengers, the longer the film. Obviously.

Of course, this isn't officially confirmed (yet) but don't be surprised if it actually does end up being that long. The film is likely not yet finished and the running time could just be a place holder for now. Speaking to Collider, Marvel president Kevin Feige said that Endgame will be "the exact running time that the movie needs to be."

So that's that on that! Three hours? I'm ready.

The official Endgame synopsis was also released and it confirms everything we already knew: it's going to be bigger, even more dramatic and nobody is safe.

"The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to 22 films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

I 👏 AM 👏 SCARED!
