American Horror Story season 10 teases theme with creepy new poster

Pack your bags, American Horror Story season 10 is taking us to the beach.
American Horror Story season 10 might not be expected to air until September 2020, but details about the theme seems to be flying in pretty early.
A few weeks after confirming the cast for season 10 using a backdrop of waves crashing onto a beach, Ryan Murphy has finally revealed the setting of the new season. (Note: While it looks like an official poster, fans have noticed that the font in Murphy's image is not the actual AHS font.)

While we’re yet to find out the official title, AHS season 10’s setting will be...near the coast. More specifically: a grey, moody coastal town up in New England. And if we start theorising around Murphy's caption, (“Things are beginning to wash up on shore...”), it sounds like the season could involve either a shipwreck, a creepy island, mermaids or maybe even some kind of plane crash.
According to reports, season 10 is set to start filming later this month and has already planned to shoot scenes in Provincetown in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
Fans of the show will also remember that Briarcliff Manor was located in Massachusetts so keep your eyes peeled for any Asylum crossovers. Oh, and Coven ones too, seeing as Salem is also located in Massachusetts.
In case you missed it, American Horror Story season 10's cast will include Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Macaulay Culkin, Lily Rabe, Angelica Ross, Adina Porter, Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman and Finn Wittrock. But as always, expect more familiar names to be added to the roster in the coming months.
