American Horror Story renewed for three more seasons

American Horror Story just secured the bag on season 11, season 12 and season 13.
Get ready for 3 more seasons of American Horror Story, because FX have just renewed the horror anthology series for season 11, season 12 and season 13, ahead of 2020's 10th anniversary season. That means AHS will be sticking around until 2023.
Ryan Murphy had previously spoken about how he believed the show could "go on for 20 years" after Roanoke's storyline reinvigorated the format. And, now with this three-season renewal, it's looking more and more likely to be honest.

In a statement, FX boss John Landgraf said: "Ryan [Murphy] and Brad [Falchuk] are the undisputed masters of horror TV, having created the anthological limited series with American Horror Story and sustaining its success for nearly a decade as FX’s highest-rated series.”
“We are grateful to them and Dana Walden and our studio partners for committing to another three years.” (via Variety)
Of course, no hints or teasers have been released about what's to come in the next three seasons (it's American Horror Story, what did you expect?) but by the sounds of things, Murphy and the team have several ideas in mind for potential season themes going forward.
In season 9, we finally got our long-awaited summer camp season with 1984 but what will the series see next, considering we've already seen the literal end of the world?

With three new seasons on the cards, as well as the upcoming season 10, here's hoping we finally get that second season of Coven Murphy hinted at after Apocalypse. And that those aliens from Asylum are finally explained.
Oh, and that Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters return home. (No, seriously... please come home, the kids miss you!)
