Harry's Mum and fellow actress, Jane Badler, has been open about his addiction, and took to Instagram on 7th January this year to share the news that her son had died.
She wrote: "On Jan 7 my beautiful son died. He was 27 and had the world at his feet. But sadly he struggled with mental illness and addiction. A brilliant spark shone bright too short a time... I will miss you Harry every day of my life..."
Harry, who also performed under the name ANTIBOY, was known for his role in American Horror Story: Hotel, as one of the victims of Jeffrey Dahmer, before going on to play Noah in The OA, and had said in a number of interviews that he identifies as gender fluid, and doesn't believe in labels.
In one interview with Boys By Girls, he said: “If I had to pick a label it would be in the realm of gender fluid. I know that I am born male but I don’t think I represent what it means to be a man. I believe we should be whatever we want. It gets kind of confusing when we start labelling ourselves so I try to stay away from labels.”
The sad news comes just as teasers for American Horror Story season 10 start to emerge, and the cast will no doubt offer a tribute when it's released.
Rest in peace.
