Lily Rabe, Taissa Farmiga, Frances Conroy, Gabourey Sidibe and... Stevie Nicks are all back in business on 'AHS: Apocalypse'.
You know what, they were NOT lying when they said the long-awaited Murder House/Coven crossover season of American Horror Story was going to blow our minds. The eighth season of the anthology series, titled, Apocalypse is only a month away from our screens and the casting announcements just keep on rolling in.
'American Horror Story: Apocalypse': Who Is In The Cast?
So far, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Billie Lourd, Billy Eichner, Cheyenne Jackson, Dame Joan Collins, Billy Porter, Adina Porter, Cody Fern, Emma Roberts and Leslie Grossman have joined the cast. We will also get to see the long awaited return of AHS legend Jessica Lange in the sixth episode of the season. But it's just been revealed that FIVE more Coven actress will be returning to the show and honestly? It's clearly going to be the best season yet.
Confirmed on Twitter by Ryan Murphy on August 7, it sounds like we'll be catching up with some old - and fan favourite - characters. Alongside Paulson, Peters and Bates, Coven cast-members Taissa Farmiga, Gabourey Sidibe, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy and Stevie Nicks (!!) will all be joining the cast of Apocalypse.
Guess who's coming back for AHS APOCALYPSE? Taissa Farmiga, Gabourey Sidibe, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy and....Stevie Nicks. So thrilled the family is together again! #AHSApocalypse

It's not yet been confirmed if they'll be reprising their roles from Coven, but given that Stevie Nicks is in the line-up, we'll take it as a yes. There looks like there'll be a few resurrections happening in this season too - Queenie, if you can cast your minds back to 2015, died in AHS: Hotel. Misty and Myrtle Snow are also dead.
Frances Conroy, Taissa Farmiga and Lily Rabe all also appeared in Murder House, but it's unlikely that they'll reprise those roles too.
Previously, Murphy said in an an interview with Entertainment Weekly that the plot for the crossover season would involve "a character from Season 1 that will be thrust into the world that you are left with at the end of Coven, which is sort of like the male/female/witch academy." So far, only Constance Langdon (Lange), Billie Dean Howard (Paulson) and grown-up Michael Langdon (Fern) have been confirmed as characters from Murder House.
