Anna Todd has confirmed that the After movie sequel, After We Collided, is on the way following the success of the first film starring Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes-Tiffin. After We Collided will be written by Anna Todd and Mario Celaya.
After movie fans, it's official. A sequel to After, starring Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes-Tiffin, is on the way. Author Anna Todd shared the news with fans on Twitter, tweeting out a photo of the Collided script and writing "we're getting a sequel guys".

Anna Todd and Mario Celaya will write the script for After We Collided.
The film's director, Jenny Gage, first teased a sequel around the same time as After's April release, hinting that a follow-up was, indeed, in the works.
Anna Todd's After We Collided is the second book in a five book series. After We Collided sees Hardin and Tessa try to figure out their complicated feelings for one another while they battle with trust issues, emotional outbursts, and an undeniable attraction to one another.
Neither of the film's stars have commented publicly on news of the sequel but, at present, it is assumed they will both return to reprise their roles as Tessa Young and Hardin Scott.
According to Variety, After brought in a box office of $62 million internationally and domestically, making it the top earning independent film of the year, so far.
No word on when filming for the sequel will resume but we're sure Anna Todd will keep her loyal fans updated on all things Collided.
