Are Tom Holland and Zendaya engaged? Here's everything you need to know about the Spider-Man stars' engagement.

For a long time rumours of an engagement between Zendaya and Tom Holland have been whirring. While Zendaya was on the press run for her 2024 film Challengers, she wasn't able to get away from them and most recently she sparked them on the red carpet at the 2025 Golden Globes.

The Spider-Man co-stars-turned-partners are everyone's favourite celebrity couple and their romance has shown signs of getting serious.

At the Paris premiere of the steamy tennis movie, Zendaya was seen sporting a ring on that finger, and was spotted wearing it again at the Golden Globes. So, are Tom and Zendaya, both 28, engaged? Here's the truth!

Are Tom Holland and Zendaya engaged?

According to TMZ, they are in fact engaged! The outlet confirmed rumours that blew up during the Golden Globes, with PEOPLE magazine also confirming the reports citing a "family source".

Zendaya wore a gorgeous oblong diamond at the Golden Globes which had fans sure Tom had proposed over the holiday season. Now, TMZ have said Tom "popped the question between Christmas and New Year's dropping to one knee in a very intimate setting in one of Zendaya's family homes in the United States".

Just as we would imagine the proposal was reportedly low-key and sources even said the family wasn't there and it was just a sweet moment between Tom and Zendaya.

This comes after years of engagement speculation which Zendaya even had to shut down herself. In September 2023, she shared a mirror selfie of her in a cap and she had a ring on her finger.

After speculation grew she posted a video on her IG story saying: "I can't post anything, you guys! I posted it for my hat! Like not for the ring on my right finger you guys, you think that's how I'd drop the news?"

But this time she couldn't beat the rumours as she was even shown showing off her ring to Spider Man producer Amy Pascal at the Golden Globes. In a video, Zendaya is seen extending her arm out and grinning behind her.

For a while there have been engagement rumours with sources claiming months ago that there was talk of marriage between them. Not long ago Tom declared Zendaya 'the best thing to happen to him'.
