N'AAAAAAWH! It's finally happened. We were getting sick of those buck-toothed Rattatas anyway.

The biggest Pokémon GO update to-date sees characters from the Gold and Silver generation appear in the game... AND THEY'RE JUST SO FLUFFY AND CUTE.

The app's developers, Niantic, officially announced the arrivals of Pichu and Togepi, but other fans have hatched the likes of Cleffa, Igglybuff, Elekid and Magby.

Oh, and in case your heart isn't just a big pile of melted goo right now, there's also a Christmas hat-wearing Pikachu in the game too.

Starting this week, players will have the opportunity to hatch the baby Pokémon. Chances are you've already deleted this game from your phone, but we so know you're already re-downloading it as you read this.
