Aidan Gallagher has shared a new song, "TIME", inspired by Netflix's The Umbrella Academy.
The Umbrella Academy actor Aidan Gallagher has released a new song inspired by the hit Netflix series. Gallagher wrote the music and lyrics for "TIME", a pop punk ode to the show and the "concept of time."
Speaking to Alt Press, Aidan Gallagher explained that he wrote the song while he was filming Umbrella Academy.
“I wrote ‘TIME’ while I was filming season 1 of The Umbrella Academy in Toronto,” Aidan told Alt Press. “Because of the show, I spent a lot of thinking about the concept of time. The song really does speak to The Umbrella Academy plot but also about being young and looking into the future.”

TIME - music video - Premieres May 10, 2019
In the chorus of "TIME", Aidan sings...
Time is a figment of my mind
And like my mind, time will disappear
And the sand that slips through my fingers
Is the time that passes through the years
In the music video, Aidan performs his song against a dark minimal background, giving fans major time and space vibes.
Considering that his character on The Umbrella Academy, Number Five, travels through time, we can understand why Aidan would have time on his mind while filming.
At the end of season 1, Number Five and his siblings travel back in time after facing a disaster that is moments away from wiping out humanity. BIG time travel energy.
Aidan posted the music video to his YouTube channel where he vlogs, talks about the environment, and shares his other music.
"TIME" is available to stream on Spotify and Apple Music.
