11. How did NewJeans form?
In 2019, ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin began work on putting together a new girl group. Prior to NewJeans, Min Hee-Jin was most famous for her work with bands such as Girls Generation, f(x) and Red Velvet. Auditions for NewJeans started in 2019 and were held all over the world. They continued in 2021 through to the beginning of 2022. The group lineup was finalised in March 2022.
