Madison Beer says she won't be 'shamed' over her leaked nudes

Madison Beer has been subject to leaked nude photos and videos when she was just 14 years old, and this International Women's Day, she's taking a stand against the people that shared them.
Madison Beer has spoken out in honour of International Women's Day to address nude photos of herself being leaked when she was just 14 years old that have recently resurfaced.
The singer, who recently turned 21, wrote a lengthy post about the incident, and how frightening it was being betrayed by someone she trusted at such a young age.

Taking to social media, the 'Hurts Like Hell' artist wrote in a lengthy post: 'I know there are some very significant things happening in the world right now that are very frightening so my intention with this message is to not, in any way, to distract from them, but I do wanna talk today on International Women’s Day on the subject of shaming women.
'When I was around 14 and exploring my body & my sexuality, I sent very private snapchat’s of my body to a boy I really liked at the time. I sent these, at 14, thinking I could trust the boy as we had known each other for years & shared feelings for one another, but of course he shared it with all of his friends.eventually that video was sent and shared by everyone (it felt like) in the entire world.
'I’d walk into restaurants and be stared at and whispered about, i was told people were ashamed to be working, or even be friends with me, these videos were shown to my parents, grandparents, and significant people, executives, and artists in the music business. it eventually surfaced online.i was distraught and ashamed. this was a traumatizing experience that has instilled intense trust issues in me, that i’m still working on to this day.'
She finished the post by adding 'shame on those who shame you', and opened up about how she wanted women to start owning their mistakes and not feel embarrassed or not worthy enough for simply exploring the sexuality, before signing off 'Madison, 21, still learning'.
Fans have already stepped up to show their support, with one writing: "You need to press charges ASAP. Revenge p*rn is the sickest thing a man or even a woman can do. It’s your body and your own choice, nobody will let anyone judge you. Sending you a lot of love and support."
Others added that her experience reminded them of things they'd gone through, and it's helped them become more accepting of the situation: "i love you. you’re amazing for sharing this bc it will not only let you take back your power but it is showing all your young fans going through the same situation that they can too."
Given that Madison is now a multi-platinum selling artist working with some of the biggest names in the industry (and nailing TikTok, just saying), it looks like she has truly got the last laugh.
