Disney icon Peyton List stars in the stunning visual...

Little Mix may not have officially launched their highly anticipated fifth era just yet but they are back with a new Cheat Codes collaboration and it is a certified banger. Not only does 'Only You' feature stunning vocal performances by Jesy, Jade, Perrie and Leigh-Anne but it also has a rousing chorus and club ready drop that is making it a strong contender for song of the summer 2018.

To make things even more exciting, the 'Black Magic' girls have now released the 'Only You' music video and it features an LGBTQ+ storyline. No. We are not joking. The record-breaking girl group took to Twitter on Wednesday to share a link via which fans could unlock a snippet of the visual. They then released it today at midnight and it is queer af.

The video starts with a teenage girl getting ready for a house party and then struggling to socialise when she arrives. The screen then cuts to another girl (played by the one and only Peyton List from Bunk'd) who is in the same predicament. However, seconds later they catch each others eyes, begin flirting are soon start dancing together. Our hearts.

However, there is a major twist and let's just say that it involves mermaids.

Cheat Codes, Little Mix - Only You (Official Video)

We need Peyton List to star as a mermaid in all music videos from now on.

The Emma Ross actress even tweeted about how much she loved being a part of 'Only You'.

What a woman and what a video. Little Mix really are remarkable LGBTQ+ allies.

This isn't the first time that the group has paid tribute to their queer fans either. Jade works closely with the LGBTQ+ charity Stonewall and the girls continually use their social media accounts as a platform to fight against queerphobia. Not only that but they wrote 'Secret Love Song' in honour of the LGBTQ+ community.

Unsurprisingly fans are obsessed with it and they were even tweeting about how excited they were about the concept for it when the girls released the snippet. It may seem small but having straight stars like Little Mix use their platforms to centre LGBTQ+ experiences is so important. It helps normalise same-sex love and combat the prejudice that it still receives.

Here are some of the best reactions to the video so far.

Some people are ecstatic about the LGBTQ+ plot.

'It's about time!' in the words of Sarah Harding.

Others are also living for the fact that Peyton List is in it as well as it being LGBTQ+ focused.

Disney royalty.

In general people are just freaking out.

Wig. We feel that already.

Essentially Pride month never ended and we have Little Mix to thank for it.

God bless our incredible allies.
