Doja Cat denies being on drugs after Instagram live goes viral

Doja Cat denies that she did any drugs before swooning over Nicki Minaj on Instagram Live where she was seen fidgeting and playing with her nose.

American rapper Doja Cat is no stranger to internet speculation - the latest being suspicions around her drug use, when she posted an Instagram Live last week.

After giving a very sincere monologue about Nicki Minaj and how much she admires her, fans began to wonder if her rambling was coming from a not-so-sound-minded place AKA they thought she was on drugs.

Jittering and playing with her nose, the star, who's known for being provocative slurred: "She has implanted herself so deeply into all of us and into music, and into rap, and into hip-hop, in such a way that people have under-appreciated her and I don't think that that's right."

However, despite the speculation, the 'Juicy' singer herself took to Twitter to set the record straight, and it turns out it's a lot more innocent than we first thought.

"Lol people think I do drugs," she began her case with. "I think I was scared I had boogers but if you guys want to be worried about me doing cocaine that’s fine at least you care. That’s nice of y’all."

"I always have dookie hanging out my nose and I gotta pick it a lot cause I get sniffles from dressing like a slut all the time. Have you ever seen me in a sweater? No. That’s why I’m digging in my f**king face."

And as for her shakiness? Well, it turns out she'd just gone a little too hard partying the night before.

"I had to be put on an IV for alcohol poisoning shortly after that." she said. "I over drank. That's why I look f**king terrible."
