Alex Strangelove: Every Song On The Soundtrack

Netflix's latest LGBTQ teen film has an AMAZING soundtrack featuring MUNA, The B52's, Mint Julep and St. Lucia.

If you've already fallen in love with Alex Strangelove on Netflix, then you're probably a big fan of the soundtrack too.

The film, which was released last Friday (June 8) has some pretty magical musical moments. There's the scene when Elliot (Antonio Marziale) takes Alex (Daniel Doheny) back to his flat and performs a hilarious lip sync to The B52's iconic song 'Dance This Mess Around' (1979). Honestly, who didn't fall in love with Elliot after THAT? We think mother Ru would approve.

There's also a cameo from queer pop trio MUNA. They are seen performing 'I Know A Place' when Alex and Elliot head to a bar in Brooklyn. MUNA released their debut album About U last year (which was one of our top albums from 2017) and supported none other than Harry Styles on his US tour.

And the song that has got everybody shook; when Alex and Elliot are laying on the bed before drunk Claire stumbles in? That would be 'Slow Spiral' by Mint Julep. And, while they're not on the soundtrack, we feel like we should definitely mention that gag-worthy Panic! At The Disco joke. Still not over it tbh.
