Kim Kardashian is being roasted for her "tampon" Christmas decorations

Newsflash: tinsel and baubles are out – tampons are in.

When it comes to interior design, it's safe to say the internet doesn't always agree with Kim Kardashian's choices. Kim Kardashian's bathroom sink famously went viral after it appeared to be just one huge concrete slab. The SKIMS mogul confirmed that wasn't the case, though, but can she explain her choice in Christmas decor? The internet is reeling over Kim's choice of Christmas decorations. In case you don't know, Kim's house has a clear theme. In April 2019, Kim opened the doors of her minimal mansion in Calabasas, California, for Vogue's 73 Questions. As you can imagine, it's decorated in her husband Kanye West's minimalist "monastery" vision. Everything is in a natural hue and it's, um, kind of empty.

So, Kim chose Christmas decorations that would fit with that kind of vibe. Minimal, white and…tampon-like. On her Instagram Story, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star showed off her corridor lined with long white tubes. There were also white, fluffy balls lining the sides of the walkway that we can only assume are snowballs.

Of course, her huge Christmas tree was all white too and covered in – take a guess – white lights. "I love these. They’re so whimsical, like Whoville, but all white," Kim said in the video, referring to the fictional town in How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

We know Kim's festive design choices were probably real expensive and all but…where is the tinsel? The baubles? Some colour?

Needless to say, the internet was extremely confused.
