Kanye West has also donated to multiple families affected by police brutality and taken part in Black Lives Matter protests.

Kanye West has made over $2 million of personal donations to George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery's families.

Last week (May 25), George Floyd, a black man, was murdered by a white Minneapolis police officer. His death followed the killing of Breonna Taylor, a black woman, who was shot by a Louisville police officer in her own home (Mar 13). Earlier this year (Feb 23), Ahmaud Arbery, a black man, was killed by three white men while jogging in Brunswick in Glynn County.

Following their murders, many people have donated money to the victims' families and Kanye West has now joined them.

According to TMZ, Kanye has donated over $2 million to the families of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery to help with legal costs, funeral costs and other expenses. He has also "set up a 529 college savings fund to fully cover tuition for Floyd's 6-year-old daughter, Gianna".

TMZ also reports that "Kanye's donating to several black-owned businesses in his hometown of Chicago and nationwide that have been in crisis and impacted by the unrest in the U.S."

Kanye has also been spotted physically protesting in Chicago with other protesters and demanding specifically that CPS end their contract with the Chicago Police Department.

Kanye is one of many celebrities right now using their platform to donate, protest and help black people affected by police brutality and racism.
