Emily Ratajkowski has shared her opinion on women who cheat with married men.

Amidst the ongoing drama surrounding Adam Levine’s alleged affair with influencer Sumner Stroh, Emily has spoken out about “the other woman” who cheats with someone’s husband.

Emily shared a TikTok video and began by saying that she doesn’t understand “why we continue to blame women for men’s mistakes.”

“If you're the one in a relationship, you're the one obligated to be loyal," she continued. "The whole other woman, like, [being] blamed, that's bad."

Following up on her original statement, Emily posted another video to TikTok on September 20th, expanding on her original thoughts in response to Sara Foster's criticism of women who flirt with married men, and criticism of Sumner Stroh's TikTok.

"I think a huge problem in our culture right now is that we just say ‘oh men are monsters, they’re terrible, they’re horrible’,” the My Body author said. “We don’t hold them accountable and we blame other women, we ask women to adjust their behaviour instead of just saying men need to change their behaviour. It’s sexism. It’s classic misogyny. Period."

She captioned the video with the statement: "maybe we just hold men accountable instead of just accepting them as terrible, asking them to do 0 work, and then blaming other women? ok gn."

The viral videos have received plenty of praise from friends and fans who agree with Emily’s comments.

“This is why I love you! I’ve been seeing more hate on her than on Adam. Hold that man accountable plsssss,” one person wrote in reference to the current cheating allegations surrounding the Maroon 5 frontman.

“100% agree, both are to blame but the majority of the blame should fall on the MAN he took vows and he broke them and he should be held accountable,” another commented. A third said “You’re absolutely right. This situation revealed the deep seated misogyny in our society. It is sad.”

The Gone Girl actress is known for her activism and passion for making a change in society. The TikTok videos come in the same month that Emily filed for her own divorce from Sebastian Bear-McClard after he allegedly cheated on her. The former couple share a son, 18-month-old Sylvester ‘Sly’ Apollo Bear.
