Archie and Betty get closer in Riverdale's 4x18 trailer
"Attacking my friends, baseless accusations, leaking my address, and sending death threats are all qualities of insanity and fanaticism."
Cole Sprouse has had enough of intrusive fans overstepping their boundaries when it comes to his personal life – and he's fired back with a rare statement on Instagram stories.
Last year, Cole and Lili Reinhart's alleged breakup became a topic of conversation until the pair simultaneously shut down the doubters with shots from their joint W Magazine shoot, and a couple of brilliantly sassy captions.

The new rumours seem to have, once again, stemmed from speculation about their relationship, and whether or not they're still together after Cole was reportedly said to be quarantining with Kaia Gerber and several other friends.
Cole, who is famously private about his personal life and what he shares on social media, has now fired back at the "baseless claims" and so-called fans who are sending him "death threats" and leaking his address amid the recent accusations.
Taking to his Instagram story, Cole wrote: "I tolerate a lot of rumors and slander from people online claiming to be my fans. Fans who feel entitled to my privacy precisely because I never indulge them.
But attacking my friends, baseless accusations, leaking my address, and sending death threats are all qualities of insanity and fanaticism. Choose humanity, stop being [image of a clown emoji]."
He then went on to explain that his and Lili's choice to keep their personal relationship private has caused certain fans to start pushing "their own agenda onto [Cole's] habits and lifestyle."
"When I first stepped into a public relationship, this was one of the foreseeable consequences," he continued. "And while I truly never intended to indulge any part of my private life to the ravenous horde, it's clear my restraint in updating them has allowed them to push their own agenda onto my habits and lifestyle."
He ended the Instagram Story statement by writing: "So in conclusion - please eat my delectable plump ass. (Making me post a goddamn white font insta story like a twice divorced mother of three.)"
We are literally in the middle of a global pandemic. Can everyone just stop being horrible to other people on the internet, please? Thanks.
