It's all kicking off on Twitter.
With films like ‘Tangled’ and ‘Brave’ introducing positive female role-models into the Disney world, fans were quite angry when they saw the new poster for the latest adaptation of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
With the lead character voiced by none other than Chloe Grace Moretz, the film's promotional artwork was spotted at Cannes film festival and instantly gained some hateful tweets.

Why?
Well, one side of the poster features a tall, slim Snow White who has perfect make up and a supermodel posture. On the other side, there’s a slightly shorter Snow White, who is slouching a little and holding her heels. The caption alongside the image read, “What if Snow White was no longer beautiful, and the dwarfs not so short?”.

The producer of the film, Sujin Hwang has since released a statement commenting that they want “to apologise regarding the first elements of our marketing campaign (in the form of a Cannes billboard and a trailer) which we realise has had the opposite effect from that which was intended. That advertising campaign is being terminated”.
Chloe Grace Moretz has even tweeted about the controversy.
“I have now fully reviewed the mkting for Red Shoes, I am just as appalled and angry as everyone else, this wasn’t approved by me or my team”, she wrote.

Continuing, “Pls know I have let the producers of the film know. I lent my voice to a beautiful script that I hope you will all see in its entirety”, she concluded.
