Get a slice of the action this Bank Holiday weekend as the Bolton Food and Drink Festival is back from Friday 23rd to Monday 26th August for a tasty treat.

Drop in for some fantastic food, scrumptious drinks and some of the nation’s best-loved celebrity chefs. Join Aldo Zilli, Michael Caines, Paul Hollywood, Mary Berry and James Martin as they're all ready to show you some of their tastiest recipes in the marquee.

And the cooking doesn’t stop there! Get stuck into loads of free demonstrations and once you've seen some of the tasty treats you can conjure up in the kitchen, head over to Market Street where you can pick up everything you need for the recipe. Then it's time to rustle it up and surprise your mates with your new found culinary skills.

When you've had your fill of the food samples and have a mind full of recipe ideas, head to the KRO Bar and the Beer Keller where you can chill out with live local bands and a cold drink, what other excuse do you need to join in?

There's also loads for kids to get stuck into at the Children’s Food and Fun Emporium at Crompton Place Shopping Centre between 11am and 4pm each day where they can get busy making pasta jewellery and tucking into some treats. There's loads of entertainment too, from stilt walkers to balloon modellers and some of the region’s best street artists and some great live music. Plus the best thing is that it's all free!

On Sunday 25th August the Street Stars will be at the Bolton Food and Drink Festival between 10am and 3pm with the Capital Car.
