Manchester United Parade Route & Road Closures

A victory parade marking Manchester United's win in the Barclays Premier League and potential victory over Barcelona in the Champions League final is being held on Bank Holiday Monday 30 May. Here are all the details.

Manchester Cathedral - Event start 10am

Deansgate (Victoria Road to Liverpool Road) - Anticipated parade time 10.05am

Bridgewater Viaduct to Chester Road - Anticipated parade time 10.45am

Bridgewater Way - Anticipated parade time 11.10am

Wharfside Way - Anticipated parade time 11.30am

Sir Matt Busby Way (including Stadium) - Anticipated parade time 11.40am

Warwick Road to Talbot Road - Anticipated parade time 12.05pm

Talbot Road to Stretford Mall - Anticipated parade time 12.35pm

People travelling in and out of the city centre on Monday morning are being advised to expect some disruption to roads and public transport and to consider this when planning their journeys.

Deansgate from Hunt's Bank to Liverpool Road, including Victoria Street, will be closed from 7am, while Great Ducie Street from Trinity Way and Hunt's Bank, Sir Matt Busby Way, and Warwick Road to Talbot Road will be closed from 9am.

Bridgewater Viaduct to Chester Road, Bridgewater Way, Wharfside Way and Talbot Road to Stretford Mall will be closed as necessary from 10.30am depending on the amount of people along the route.

Traffic diversion signs will be put up on the day while barriers will be removed and roads reopened as soon as crowds have dispersed.
