RULES
1. The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at http://www.capitalfm.com/terms-conditions/competition) (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to ‘The Learning Foundry’ radio competition (the “Competition") which will run on Thursday 22nd August 2019 on Capital Liverpool (the "Radio Station").
2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.
Details of the Competition:
3. To enter the Competition an Entrant must send a text message with the word MINE to 83958 (the “Text Message Line”). Text messages will be charged at standard network rates. The opening and closing times of the Text Message Line will be given out on air during the Drive Show for each round of the competition. There will be two rounds played on the Drive Show on Thursday 22nd August 2019.
4. All Entrants selected to play on air will be required to talk to the presenter(s) and the conversation may be recorded and played on-air. If the caller fails to answer a return call from Global, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over, cannot continue the call for any reason or the phone line is not of a suitable quality for broadcast (at the discretion of the producer) the call may be terminated and another Entrant selected at random.
5. An entrant will be selected at random from all of the text entries received and will come to air and asked to answer three competition questions. For every correct answer, the entrant will win £100.
6. If all three competition questions are answered correctly, the entrant will receive a £200 bonus and win £500.
7. The entrant will find out if they are the winner at the end of the competition round on air. The winner will be announced on air.
Eligibility:
8. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition.
9. The entrant brought to air in the first round is excluded from entering the second round.
10. Entrants must be 16 or over. Entrants under 18 must have the permission of a parent of guardian aged 18 or over.
Prize:
11. The prize is £100 for one correct answer, £200 for two correct answers and £500 for all three correct answers.
12. The prize will be in the form of a cheque and will be delivered by post within 28 days of the competition execution.
13. Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion.
