The internet is divided over a "shower shield" that protects your makeup while you bathe

This is… kind of genius?
We've all been there, no matter how grubby admitting it may make you feel. You've been wearing makeup during the day and want to grab a quick shower before heading out again, but you don't want to get rid of that flawless contour. The next thing you know you're in the shower and trying to desperately crane your face away from the water, all while trying to give your body (and hopefully legs and feet) a good 'ol wash. Well, no more, our prayers have been answered and it's all thanks to the ShowrShield.
People are giving themselves sunburn tattoos and it's SO dangerous
The ShowrShield is basically exactly what it says on the tin. It shields your makeup from water whilst you're in the shower. Keep your makeup pristine, eyelash extensions in tact and your microbladed brows on fleek. It even comes in two colours – black or pink.
The ShowrShield retails for £12 ($14.95) and was made by American entrepreneur Sheridan, who put in the hard work to make sure the device is truly water tight.

It's not just for makeup lovers either. The ShowrShield can help people who have had facial surgery and require to keep their face dry, whilst it can also help people who have Hyper Sensory Disorder or are on the Autism spectrum, who sometimes don't like getting water in their faces.
It received positive reviews online, especially when one woman put the ShowrShield to the test on behalf of INSIDER. She noted how her makeup was kept in tact throughout her hot shower, even when she washed her hair, and because it's got a handy adjustable strap, it can fit just about anyone. Her only gripe was that it left a huge indent on her head where the ShowrShield had been resting and it didn't protect her neck from splashes.
As soon as the product was discovered online, the internet was up in arms over it. No-one had ever seen something so simple yet so effective.
Some were eager to get their hands on one.
Those saying shower first then makeup or remove makeup before shower. It's called: Having makeup on during the day, coming home for a quick shower, heading back out for the evening. I don't have time to redo my makeup. I'm sold on this product. https://t.co/jMGQ8TMnwq

So, hear me out, let's not lead with the silly 'protecting your make-up' bit.

What if people showered FIRST then apply makeup AFTER? Just an idea. It might catch on. https://t.co/sRUiSFIjqP

I’m confused... who showers after they did their makeup?? Are you drunk...? Like how did you end up there is what I’m wondering lol.....? Where did you go wrong....? Ya know.

isn’t the point of a shower to get clean? I’m lost as to why you’d have a full face of makeup on and then want to shower and wash your hair..... also if you take hot showers, wouldn’t your makeup kinda sweat off under that shield??? Lol https://t.co/QW5pV1LSZP
