Ugh, it might be 2019, but it looks like we still have a long way to go before female body hair is accepted.
Nike have caught some heat for their latest campaign which shows the model proudly showing off her armpit hair. The sportswear brand used Nigerian-American singer Annahstasia Enuke in the new advert, which was shared on Instagram with the caption, "big mood".
Unicorn armpit hair is the latest WTF trend taking over the internet
In the photo, Annahstasia is rocking a Nike sports bra and fierce silver jewellery. With her arm over her head, Annahstasia's neatly-trimmed armpit hair is exposed.
Although Annahstasia looked phenomenal, her armpits appeared to be the hot topic in the comment section. The misogyny JUMPED tf out with this one.
Some called it "disgusting" that she would dare to even show hair that literally most people on the planet have.
"Ew no thanks," one person commented. And another said: "Disgusting she needs to shave," while a third added: "Horrible PR move. Less than one percent of your female target market doesn’t shave. Wtf is going on?"
It’s fucking armpit hair. People are seriously obtuse and worried about the wrong things. https://t.co/lZVXfmqbHI

The Nike ad getting slammed for being disgusting for showing a woman with armpit hair just shows how much pressure women feel to look "perfect". It ain't no feminist crap, let women look and do wtf they want, u don't like it, don't look, fucking pricks. Some horrible ppl here
