The egg that beat Kylie Jenner is now a Fashion Nova model and I'm logging off

This egg is just SO darn messy.

An egg just robbed Kylie Jenner's Instagram title of having the most liked photo and now it's actually going to be a model. Jesus, help us.

Shortly after welcoming her first child Stormi in February 2018, Kylie shared the first baby photo of her adorable daughter. The pic exploded on the 'gram and she earned the title of most liked photo with 18 million likes. But then an Instagram account opened this month and shared a stock image of an egg, ambitiously with the aim to dethrone King Kylie. Well, the internet worked its magic and now the egg has over 41 million likes.

Soon, egg memes were flooding the internet, and you'd have thought it would all stop there. Well, it hasn't, the egg is now a Fashion Nova model. Never underestimate the power of the internet.

Fashion Nova are known for their risqué pieces (and Photoshop scandals…) modelled by Cardi B and Kylie herself, but now they've bagged the hottest baddie on Instagram right now – the humble egg. The clothing brand shared a photo of the famous egg to their Instagram page in a pair of jeans. Iconic.

"If You Wanna Get Laid, Fashion Nova Jeans Make Your Booty Look Eggs-tra Fat," they captioned the photo. "Let’s Scramble the World Record And Make This The Most Liked Picture On Instagram."

Sadly, they struggled to get anywhere near the eggs colossal 41 million likes and pulled in just 292, 832. Nice try though.

People were a little confused, like, it's an EGG.
