Kylie Jenner denies sending "Rise and Shine" cease and desist letters

Kylie urged her fans to not "believe everything you read".
Kylie Jenner has denied rumours that she is suing a family for selling t-shirts with her viral phrase "Rise and Shine" on them. If you'll remember, in October, Kylie shared a YouTube video of her Kylie Cosmetics office tour. In the clip, she wakes up her daughter Stormi Webster from a nap by singing "Hriiise and Shiiine". As soon as the footage of Kylie reached the internet, of course, they made hilarious "Rise and Shine" memes – and Ariana Grande even did a cover.

And, as any billionaire businesswoman would, Kylie decided to make a profit from the phrase. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star filed to trademark "Riiise and Shiiine" and even began selling merch plastered in the phrase and her face. Ugh, Kris Jenner's mind.
However, it all took a turn when on 1 November, MTV Australia reported that a family business named CASED clothing on Australia's Gold Coast had received a letter from Kylie's lawyers asking them to stop selling "Rise and Shine" t-shirts, despite the fact they had been doing so for a year.
Needless to say, the internet started dragging Kylie over the news.
The Kardashians/Jenners are pure scum. Kylie Jenner is a literal 22 y/o billionaire putting working-class families out of their jobs because she had the money to trademark “rise and shine”.

Does she think she’s the first person in the history of the world to say “Rise and shine?”

Well, it's not true guys. Kylie confirmed that she had not sent a cease and desist letter on Twitter.
She tweeted: "Guys, please don’t believe everything you read. I have not sent any Rise and Shine cease and desist letters. Rise and Shine was an unexpected moment.. I had a lot of fun with it, and I have laughed so hard seeing everyone’s memes since the video came out a few weeks ago.
"There are no law suits, no cease and desist letters. Happy Sunday."
Meanwhile, CASED clothing also headed to social media to clear up the allegations too. The company shared a Instagram photo, captioned: "KYLIE HAS NOT SENT US ANY LETTERS. We are not being sued. All Kardashian/Jenner 'hate' comments will be deleted. We do not agree with bringing people down."
The image read: "You may have seen CASED on the news regarding Kylie Jenner & the rise and shine slogan. We are in no way cooperating in this drama and will be closing the website down until this all blows over. We currently do not and have never had a problem with Kylie Jenner.
"We are unsure where this all started and we do not want to be involved. CASED clothing owners have declined interview as this is news we do not wish to be apart of."
